Fort McCoy, local, and state government personnel learn about intergovernmental and community partnerships during the Army Community Partnership Kick-off and Needs and Capacity Conference on April 25, 2019, at Fort McCoy, Wis.

Leaders from throughout the Fort McCoy Garrison, tenant organizations, and local government agencies participated in the conference.

The effort supports the Army Community Partnership Program at Fort McCoy, which leverages the strength of federal, state, and local governments to form partnerships that increase efficiencies and produce cost savings.

More follow-up action is planned through this effort that may produce future intergovernmental support agreements.

Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin.

The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
