The Airman and Family Readiness Center strives to enrich and improve the quality of life for service members and their families.
“A lot of service members and their spouses don’t know about all the services we offer to Airmen and their families,” said Dawn Beal, 341st Force Support Squadron community readiness consultant.
The A&FRC has many different programs to help with job employment, developing a budget, maintaining the balance between personal and work life and so much more.
“We provide Bundles for Babies for new and experienced parents as well as other parenting classes and programs,” said Beal.
Bundles for Babies is a free class for expectant parents to explore all areas of child care and expenses related to having a newborn. It is open to all ranks and is not limited to a first pregnancy.
“[We can also] sit down, take a look at your expenses, talk about your goals and figure out how to get you there,” continued Beal.
The A&FRC has a specialist that can help develop a personalized budget, talk about how to influence credit, eliminate debt and save for retirement.
The programs available at the A&FRC include but are not limited to marriage, parenting, deployment, stress, time management and Key Spouse training.
