Soldiers at the installation for training drove military vehicles in a convoy on the cantonment area June 11, 2019, at Fort McCoy, Wis.
The activity was part of ongoing training operations at Fort McCoy by units such as the Wisconsin National Guard’s 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 348th Engineer Company from Missouri, 1744th Troop Command, 1st Battalion, 120th Field Artillery, and more.
Overall, thousands of troops trained at Fort McCoy throughout June 2019.
Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin.
The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
