Story by Tech. Sgt. Christopher Carranza

    403rd Wing

KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss.— The 403rd Wing announced its first quarter award winners for the Jan. 1 through March 31 period. Winners were chosen in the Airman, noncommissioned officer, senior NCO, company grade officer and civilian categories.

Airman of the Quarter: Senior Airman Kristian Delgado
    Unit: 403rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
Duty title: C-130J Super Hercules Crew Chief
    Years of service: 2
    Hometown: Miami, Florida
Latest accomplishment: Getting hired as an Air Reserve Technician. It’s hard enough to get into the civil service, so being qualified and selected for the position full-time is rewarding in itself. I thank my leadership for being blunt and straightforward in accomplishing my duties and responsibilities.

NCO of the Quarter: Tech. Sgt. Daniel Sullivan
    Unit: 403rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
Duty title: C-130J Super Hercules Crew Chief
    Years of service: 6
    Hometown: Vancleave, Mississippi
Latest accomplishment: Completing my Community College of the Air Force Associate’s degree in aerospace maintenance. Education is important because the Air Force encourages continuous learning and affords us the opportunities to educate us as Airmen as we train and refine our skills.

SNCO of the Quarter: Master Sgt. Brian May
    Unit: 403rd Logistics Readiness Squadron
Duty title: NCO in charge of vehicle management
    Years of service: 14
    Hometown: Youngsville, Louisiana
Latest accomplishment: Completing Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy, I learned a lot about leadership and what is expected of me at this tier of responsibility. It’s an important step for my next stripe, but more-so in my career development as a SNCO and building upon the whole Airman concept.

CGO of the Quarter: Capt. Erika Cordes
    Unit: 403rd Wing
    Duty title: Executive Officer
    Years of service: 15
    Hometown: Janesville, Wisconsin
Latest accomplishment: Being given the opportunity to serve as the 403rd Wing executive officer following a Permanent Change of Station from Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. It is a great honor to be entrusted in this role coming from the flightline as a maintenance officer with the 433rd Airlift Wing.

Civilian of the Quarter: Tyree Leverette
    Unit: 403rd Operation Support Squadron
Duty title: Aircrew Flight Equipment craftsman
    Years of service: 20
    Hometown: Moss Point, Mississippi
Latest accomplishment: Supporting the 815th Airlift Squadron in exercise Swift Response 19 in Germany. I had the opportunity to work with international partners and Airmen overseas which was an exciting and gratifying experience.
