CONSTANTA, Romania-- U.S. Army Soldiers continued to work alongside Romanian civilian contractors at the Port of Constanta, Romania, July 26, 2019, to get a total of over 1,000 pieces of equipment ready for redeployment back to the United States.
The equipment was used in a variety of summer exercises in the European theatre. The 624th Movement Control Team, Kaiserslautern, Germany, and the 152nd Movement Control Team, Fort Carson, Colorado, worked in conjunction with customs agencies to ensure that all equipment is thoroughly cleaned and prepared to pass a customs inspection. Once passed, the equipment is moved to a sterile yard where it will then be loaded onto a ship to be taken back to their respective home stations.
