The following 480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing squadron and members were selected as nominees for Air Force level awards.

The 2016 Lance P. Sijan Award:
Junior Enlisted – Tech. Sgt. Jeffrey T. Holick, 497th ISRG
Senior Enlisted – Senior Master Sgt. Timothey C. Hodgin, 694th ISRG
Junior Officer – Capt. Michael C. Ryan, 497th ISRG
Senior Officer – Maj. Matthias M. McCormick, 692nd ISRG
Established in 1981, is named in honor of the first U.S. Air Force Academy graduate to receive the Medal of Honor. This award recognizes the accomplishments of total force officers and enlisted leaders who demonstrate the highest qualities of leadership in the performance of their duties and personal conduct.
The 2016 National Latina Symposium Distinguished Service Award:
Tech. Sgt. Elizabeth Green, 548th ISRG
The LATINA Style 2016 Distinguished Military Service Award recognizes women in the military and the Department of Defense civilian workforce who through their service have enhanced the role of Latinas in their organization and the DoD.
The 2015 Annual Language Awards:
Command Language Program of the Year: 31st Intelligence Squadron
Language Professional of the Year: Staff Sgt. Hyojin Kim, 392nd IS
Language Capable Airman of the Year (Officer): Capt. Gregory Stine 694th ISRG
Language Capable Airman of the Year (Enlisted): Tech. Sgt. Han Kim 6th IS
The Air Force established the Language Awards program to recognize the significant contributions and critical roles that language professionals have in supporting the warfighter mission.
