Maj. Mark M. Seaman, Headquarters Chaplain of the 916th Air Refueling Wing, visits with retired veterans at the North Carolina State Veterans Home-Kinston, July 30, 2019. This community outreach event by the chaplain’s office was coordinated by Tech. Sgt. Roy M. Tart, NCO in charge of the 916 ARW HC Operations, and Kimberly Dixon, the activities director at the NC State Veterans Home.
“Focusing on base personnel is the main part of our ministry plan, but I think these guys get forgotten about a lot ,” said Tart. “Today we wanted to show the veterans our appreciation and boost their morale.”
