As part of a 3-day trip to military installations five congressional staff members representing districts in Colorado, Texas, North Dakota and North Carolina, visited the 302nd Airlift Wing, here, Aug. 7.
The team of congressional representatives also toured Fort Carson, Schriever AFB and the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Jackson Smith, the military legislative assistant for Congressman Scott Tipton who led the trip said their intent was learn more about Army readiness and the application of air, missile defense and space assets.
