    38th Infantry Division

    Indiana National Guard Chief Warrant Officer 2 Larry Kazmierzak, a 38th Infantry Division command and control systems integrator, currently serves supporting Task Force Spartan in the Middle East.

    Kazmierzak has highly specialized training with different systems including radar, communications and data processing equipment allows him to facilitate hands-on training with soldiers using lessons learned during his 38 years of experience and U.S. Army service.

    In 2009, Kazmierzak, then a staff sergeant, deployed to Mosul, Iraq with his twin daughters, Ashley and Kari, in the same department.

    The Kazmierzak's take serving their nation seriously.

    "It's the right thing to do. It's a way to give back to the country that gives us the freedoms we enjoy. It's only fair to pay that freedom back by serving our nation," said Kazmierzak.

    Kazmierzak supports the task force by working with various defense systems to help senior officers make informed choices about how to use theater assets.
