The Air Force Civil Engineer Center is deploying an enterprise Community of Interest Network Enclave (COINE) to provide separation from the Air Force and DoD networks and to protect CE control systems. COINE equipment will be deployed to each of 144 installations over the next four years. To support this effort, a contractor will be deployed to each installation as the COINE equipment is fielded. The duties of the deployed contractors will include serving as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for CE control systems, conducting inventory of all CE control systems, submitting RMF authorization packages, and managing the COINE.
