Troops were busy all over the installation Oct. 17, 2019, at Fort McCoy, Wis., during training operations.
Many troops training on post Oct. 17 were among more than 6,000 who trained at the installation in mid-October 2019.
National Guard units from Wisconsin and Illinois were among those holding training as well as Army Reserve and Marine units.
Troops were completing weapons qualification, truck gunnery, and related training.
Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin.
The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
