MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. -- U.S. Air Force Airmen enrolled in Airman Leadership School Class 20-1 and NCO Academy Class 20-1, along with their instructors, arrived in dress uniform at the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center television studios in East Tennessee this morning, November 6, for their flight photos.
Flights, or assigned classrooms of about 15 Airmen, have traditionally taken class photos since the schoolhouse opened in 1968.
For ALS, the five-week EPME course prepares Senior Airmen to become NCOs. The six flights in the current class will graduate during a formal evening banquet scheduled for November 22.
For NCOA, the six-week EPME course prepares NCOs to become senior NCOs, or Master Sergeants. The 17 flights in the current class will graduate at a morning ceremony scheduled for November 20.
Both graduation events are broadcast live on Facebook, @ANGTECTV, through TEC TV. Watch the Facebook page for exact times and other class announcements.
TEC EPME is instructed through the Chief Master Sergeant Paul H. Lankford Enlisted Professional Military Education Center and is accredited by the Community College of the Air Force.
