    PENSACOLA, Fla. -- The Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) announced its domain-wide 2019 Instructors of the Year (IOY), Nov 5.

    “The fierce competition between these outstanding professionals demonstrates the strength of our aviation training community, and their selection speaks highly of their hard work, dedication and professionalism,” said CNATT’s Commanding Officer Capt. Nate Schneider.

    CNATT’s IOYs are:

    Officer Instructor of the Year

    • Lt. Cmdr. Kristopher T. Greene, CNATT Det. Whiting Field, Naval Air Station Whiting Field, Florida

    Senior Instructor of the Year

    • Chief Hospital Corpsman Paul R. Fischer, Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC), Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida

    Mid-Grade Instructor of the Year

    • Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Aircraft Handling 1st Class Keyonnia V. Cook, NATTC, Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida

    Junior Instructor of the Year

    • Aviation Electrician’s Mate 2nd Class Lucas D. Mclean, Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit (CNATTU) Lemoore, Naval Air Station Lemoore, California

    The instructors are all part of the MyNavy HR force development team that takes Sailors from “street to fleet” by preparing new accession Sailors in aviation ratings and aviation maintenance officers with the skills to perform their jobs. They also continue to provide follow-on training at the right time in a Sailor’s career-long learning continuum.

    CNATT IOYs will now join other Sailors within the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) enterprise as a candidate for NETC’s IOY honors in each category.
