DALLAS – As military shoppers look for the perfect gifts, they can use the card that will give them gifts as well. MILITARY STAR® cardholders can earn double rewards points on all purchases Dec. 15 and 16.

That means shoppers earn four points per $1 instead of the usual two points. For every 2,000 points earned, cardholders receive a $20 rewards card that can be redeemed anywhere an exchange gift card is accepted.

“Holiday shopping with your MILITARY STAR card on Dec. 15 and 16 means earning your next $20 rewards card even faster,” said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, Exchange senior enlisted advisor. “It’s a small way for MILITARY STAR to say ‘happy holidays’ to our heroes and their families.”

Rewards points are earned everywhere the card is accepted, including all military exchanges, commissaries, ShopMyExchange.com, myNavyExchange.com, ShopCGX.com and Exchange mall vendors.

In 2018, MILITARY STAR shoppers earned $34.6 million worth of rewards cards, part of the card’s annual $471 million benefit to the military community, which also includes savings through discounts, financing offers and cardholder-friendly terms and conditions.

The MILITARY STAR card is administered by the Army & Air Force Exchange Service and is accepted at all military exchanges and commissaries. For more information or to apply for a card, visit MyECP.com
