    78th Air Base Wing

Danny Butler, a Civil Engineering technician in the 78th Civil Engineer Squadron’s Requirements & Optimization Element, is a ‘business first’ kind of guy.
It’s what helps him stay on top of the hefty mission of inventorying and assessing the condition level of all parts of buildings and structures on Robins.

Each day, Butler reviews what parts need replacing and plans for future repairs or total replacement of systems in buildings.

The 55-year-old Georgia native doesn’t waste any time in getting things done. He’s short and to the point.

And Butler enjoys getting things done.

“I get the most satisfaction from a job well done,” he said. “I get inspired by being able to see results from the work that I do.”

Butler, who enjoys helping others devise and stick to a budget, said he’s inspired when those he helps are succeeding.

“I really enjoy helping people create personal budgets and get out of debt,” he said. “Hearing how when I help someone with their budgets and it’s working for them is great.”

When the father of two isn’t taking care of business, he’s usually enjoying the outdoors - hunting, fishing, or hiking.
