Approximately 15 soldiers from 1st Infantry Division (Forward) were presented awards in acknowledgement of their contributions towards the Atlantic Resolve mission in Poznan, Poland on January 3, 2020.
There are approximately 6,000 Soldiers participating in Atlantic Resolve at any given time, conducting operations and exercises across 17 countries in support of our NATO allies.
Additionally, Staff Sgt. Heidi Miller and Sgt. Su Lee received promotions at the conclusion of the awards ceremony.
In attendence at the ceremony to congratulate the Service members were Col. Thomas O’Connor, commanding officer of 1st ID (Fwd), and Command Sgt. Maj. Joshua Holthus, the senior enlisted advisor of 1st ID (Fwd).
