VO:
Members of the 75th and 310th Army Reserve units in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa are coming together this week to take part in combat medic sustainment training at the 810th Army Reserve Hospital Center in Tuscaloosa.
The training is required for Army combat medics to maintain certifications and to learn new techniques necessary for them on deployments.
Physician recruiter Staff Sergeant Misti Chan with the 2nd Medical Recruiting Battalion is helping Sergeant First Class Tamika Stinson with this class.
They say it's important for these medics to train like this so they have the practice necessary to care for soldiers in a deployed situation.
