Red Tail Airmen won each category of the 2019 Alabama Air National Guard Outstanding Airmen of the Year competition.
The Airmen were selected based on job performance, superior leadership, and personal achievements.
The five Airmen selected are:
Senior Airman Matthew Yow, Munitions Crew Chief, 187th Maintenance Squadron, Outstanding Airman of the Year.
Staff Sgt. Paul Wilson, Pavement and Construction Journeyman, 187th Civil Engineering Squadron, Outstanding Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year.
Master Sgt. Robert Brown, Munitions Flight Superintendent, 187th Maintenance Squadron, Outstanding Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year.
Master Sgt. Daniella Newbill, First Sergeant, 187th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Outstanding First Sergeant of the Year.
Master Sgt. William Rountree, NCOIC of Fuels Operations, 187th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Governor's Award winner.
The winners will go on to compete at the Air National Guard Enlisted Field Advisory Council Region III level.
