Every month, a first sergeant has the honor of choosing a deserving Airman to be presented the First Sergeant Council’s Diamond Sharp Award for an outstanding act or continuous outstanding performance.
For the month of January, Master Sgt. Giles Dam, 49th Security Forces first sergeant, is proud to present the Diamond Sharp Award to Staff Sgt. Tabitha Lyle, 49th SFS Military Working Dog handler.
Lyle connected with individual SFS Airmen, ensuring their safety and well-being in and out of her supervision. She went out of her way, after-hours, to connect with members of her unit, fostering an environment of empathetic belonging. She displays the traits of a great noncommissioned officer and potential first sergeant during the month of January.
