ROBINSON MANEUVER TRAINING CENTER, Ark. – Eight enlisted Arkansas Army National Guard Soldiers and two Guatemalan Army personnel competed in the 2020 state-level Best Warrior Competition here February 24-27.
The grueling four day competition was designed to stress the competitors both physically and mentally to assess their soldiering skills. Several events in the competition that did just that include the Army Physical Fitness Test and Army Combat Fitness Test, various weapons qualifications, a nine mile ruck march, an appearance board, and land navigation. These tasks aimed to evaluate competitors with the Army's "Total Soldier Concept" in mind.
