605th Test & Evaluation Squadron, Detachment 2, Key Spouse Mentor Brandy Seifert, and her mother, Glenda Jackson, have taken up the task of making cloth masks for Robins Air Force Base, Georgia and others around the country.
In two short weeks, the duo has made and shipped out 300 masks, to individuals and hospitals. They recently began making toddler masks when Rob & Sierra Green needed one for their son, Levi, to take him to a doctor's appointment.
They are now coordinating the production of 300 more for the Robins Air Force Base Defenders. 78th Security Forces Squadron Commander Major Joshua Webb picked up 100 masks on Friday, April 10th, for his Airmen.
Mrs. Seifert, along with Heather Lawrence, created the Robins Mask Makers Group, with 33 spouses that have made upwards of 5,000 masks for military members thus far. They have been fortunate to receive many donations of fabric from base organizations and local individuals.
