Starting April 6, 2020, Pharmacy, Laboratory and Radiology operations will shift in effort to better serve its patients as well as protect the 1st Special Operations Medical Group Staff during the COVID-19 response.
Pharmacy operations will shift to curb-side pick-up in front of the main entrance. Operating hours will take place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. These services are open to all Active Duty, Guard and
Reserve military members, retirees and dependents. For refills, call the refill line at (850)-881-5835 or go to www.tricareonline.com. For new prescriptions, call (850)-881-2133 to activate the prescription. When calling to activate, an estimated time for pickup will be provided. In addition, hard copy or paper prescriptions will not be accepted at this time, so ask your provider to send the prescription electronically. If they are unable to send a prescription electronically, your paper prescription will need to be taken to a Tricare-accepting pharmacy. For pharmacy operations, Medical Group members will be implemented as runners while patients will be directed to a parking spot. All patients will remain in their vehicles. Once your prescription is ready, the
runner will deliver your prescription to your car using appropriate personal protective equipment.
Also effective Monday, April 6, 2020, Laboratory and Radiology services will be limited to direct support to Hurlburt Clinic appointments, COVID-19 drive-up testing and deployment requirements only. All outside orders, to include civilian provider scripts, will be suspended until further notice. For any members in need of an urgent laboratory or radiology requirement, please contact the appointment line at 850-881-1020.
