HURLBURT FIELD REDUCES COMMISSARY HOURS IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19

Hurlburt Field officials released updated hours and closures for base facilities, to include the commissary, which will be in effect March 25, 2020, until further notice.

The reduction of hours coincides with other on-base facilities moving to a shortened schedule or closure in response to COVID-19 concerns. These actions serve as the base’s effort to limit the spread of the virus.

The Hurlburt Field commissary will now reserve the duty day, during the week for active duty members and their families, with the last two hours each day open to all patrons. The first hour on both Saturday and
Sunday is reserved for retirees, ages 65 and older, with the remainder of those days open to all patrons. The new hour are as follows:
 Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 0900-1700 Active Duty and Dependents only, 1700-1900 all patrons
 Wednesday: 0900-1600 Active duty and Dependents only, 1600-1800 all patrons
 Saturday: 0900-1000 Retirees Only, 65 years and older, 1000-1800 all patrons
 Sunday: 1000-1100 Retirees Only, 65 years and older, 1100-1700 all patrons
The following locations are closed until further notice:
 Hurlburt Lanes Bowling
 Soundside Lodging
 Soundside Club (Ballrooms and Hooch)
 Fitness Testing for all Airmen (FAC)
 Outdoor Recreation Program to include:
o ODR Rentals/Marina
o Aquatic Center (Pool)
o Dive Shop

o FAMCAMP (open only to current residents)
o Rifle & Pistol
o Skeet Range
 Information, Tickets and Travel, (ITT)
 Hurlburt Field Library
 Gator Lakes Golf
 Velocity Subs
 Rickenbackers
 The B1STRO, Closed following COB 26 Mar
 Community Center
 Youth Programs (School Age and Open Recreation) will remain open until COB 27 Mar, then
