WIESBADEN, Germany – Despite the ongoing global pandemic, U.S. Army Europe supported the U.S. Army's 2020 Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month with creative activities around the theater.
Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention program professionals and various senior leadership came up with various ways to raise awareness throughout the month of April. Activities included virtual SAAPM proclamation signings, door decorating contests, dining facility “teal meals,” Denim Day, “Chalk the Walk” positive messaging, static displays featuring supportive messages to victims.
This year’s theme was "Building Cohesive Teams through Character, Trust and Resilience. Protecting Our People Protects Our Mission."
