The Commanding General of the 416th Theater Engineer Command is promoted during an afternoon ceremony on Saturday November 21.
Brig. Gen. Matthew V. Baker was promoted to the rank of Major General. Baker has a cumulative of thirty-four years of service, commissioning as an engineer officer in the Army Reserve in 1988.
The Baker family were in attendance; daughter, Nikki, and son, Brandon, watched, as wife, Debbie, pinned the new rank on their fathers uniform.
