Q: What does Native American Indian Heritage Month mean to you?
A: It means that I can share my heritage and tell my stories of traditions to those who are unaware and have never met a Native American before.
Q: What is a family tradition you wish to pass down, that your parents have passed down to you?
A: The tradition of making authentic Navajo food such as Navajo Tacos and fry bread.
Q: What positions have you held in the district?
A: I first held the position of Administrative Support Assistant in E&C’s Design Branch and now work as Administrative Support Assistant in E&C Division.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A: Helping others is what I love. Knowing that my job ensures that I can assist others in helping them better themselves and knowing they are doing their job correctly.
Q: What has been your favorite project you have worked on so far?
A: Favorite project so far is working with EEO on being the best Special Emphasis Manager for Native American Indian Heritage (NAIH). I love sharing what I know with others.
Q: What ways have you found to balance your home life with the busy schedule you have at work?
A: The balance is knowing when to put the work away and when it’s time to focus to get tasks done.
Q: Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
A: I met President Obama twice while he was in office.
