Lt. Col. Todd M. Balog, the outgoing commander of 369th Special Troops Battalion, 369th Sustainment Brigade, 53rd Troop Command, relinquishes command to Lt. Col. Michael Bedryk, the incoming commander, during a change of command ceremony at Harlem Regiment Armory, N.Y. on January 23, 2021.
Balog expressed that it hurt a bit to hear the words former commander but that all good things come to an end at some point.
“When I took command, I told my troops that I was deeply honored and humbled. Serving as your commander has only solidified my sentiment from that day,” he said.
Thank you, Lt. Col. Balog for all your hard work, years of achievement, meritorious service, and devotion to duty.
Bedryk expressed that he looks forward to the challenges ahead, thanking Brig. Gen. Jack James, commanding general of the 53rd Troop Command, and Col. Seth Morgulas, commander of the 369th Sustainment Brigade, for the trust that they placed in him.
“I am privileged and humbled to join this great organization,” he said.
