Ryan Harvey, installation Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention victim advocate with the Fort McCoy Army Community Service office of the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, and others discussed the post’s planned April observances April 1, 2021, in building 60 at Fort McCoy, Wis.
Everyone was part of a live, virtual event that unveiled specific proclamations for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Alcohol Awareness Month, Autism Awareness Month, and Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Fort McCoy’s motto is to be the “Total Force Training Center.”
Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin.
The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services nearly every year since 1984.
