ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL, Illinois (March 31, 2021) – Davis Tindoll, director, Installation Management Command Sustainment, visited Rock Island Arsenal March 31 to tour facilities and receive an update from U.S. Army Garrison Rock Island Arsenal leadership and also met with senior leaders at Army Sustainment Command and Joint Munitions Command.
Tindoll toured historic Quarters One, the Arsenal’s former golf clubhouse, and provided awards to employees at Child Youth Services.
Tindoll conducted an intensive visit touring the Arsenal’s facilities. While touring the 22,000-square-foot Quarters One he received an update on the status of an enhanced use lease that is designed to provide a private commercial partner a lease opportunity to operate the historic Quarters One and the Arsenal’s former golf clubhouse and golf course or adapt them as needed.
As part of touring the Child Development Center, Tindoll presented awards and certificates to a number of awardees for achieving a perfect score on their 2020 Army Higher Headquarters Inspection. Receiving the Civilian Service Commendation Medal was Child and Youth Services coordinator director Alan Knack; receiving the Civilian Service Achievement medal were Andrea Flannery, Laura Atilano, Lindsey Deloe, and Mary-Jo Healey-Mills. Receiving certificates of achievement were Lynnette Mason, Kim Haskins, Angela Ramos, and Connor Flynn.
Finally, Tindoll met with Garrison leadership during a working lunch at the Arsenal’s Lock and Dam Lounge and praised the team’s efforts during the pandemic and encouraged them for their input and feedback to make things better.
