The Military and Civil Survey Engineer Support Branch at the Army Geospatial Center assists Army and Marine Corps Engineers in the use of survey and reconnaissance technologies to meet operational and training needs — three tools in particular — ENFIRE, GPS-S and AISI.
Why? Our Nation’s military and civil engineers conduct land surveys, manage construction projects, conduct reconnaissance and other critical engineer operations around the world. To do this they need reliable support.
As part of the Corps of Engineers, my team is uniquely positioned to give them advanced expertise related to geography, land surveying, and military and civil construction planning and management, so that critical missions succeed. As the Product Director Combat Terrain Information Systems, under Project Manager Terrestrial Sensors within Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and Sensors, I also manage the business unit that fields their survey and reconnaissance tools.
We are a small team. Our small size enables us to adapt and move out quickly. We get the job done by working hard and having strong communication among the team.
