First Army Deputy Command Chaplain, Chaplain (Lt. Col.) Carl E. Livingston, presented the importance of spiritual fitness during the monthly chaplain's luncheon at First Army's Pershing Conference Center, First Army Headquarters, Rock Island Arsenal, Ill., and showed how spiritual fitness is the foundation of the physical, mental, and emotional fitness within.
First Army team members, Soldiers and civilians, also introduced themselves and their families during the luncheon to build an even stronger friendship that represents First Army's vision of People First.
First Army Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Thomas S. James Jr., highlighted the importance of each department section, their duty, and selfless service within First Army, showing the true strength of the First Army team.
