Jordan- Chief Warrant Officer 5 Paul Jenschke, Command Warrant Officer
(CCWO) for the 36th Infantry Division, Texas Army National Guard, conducted a professional development training for the Warrant Officers at Joint Training Center (JTC).
During his professional development training, CW5 Jenschke explained the different responsibilities that come with each rank of the Warrant Officer Corps.
Jenschke challenged all Warrants to be fully involved in their unit
activities. He also challenged them to become a member of the Warrant
Officer Association to support the Corps interest.
He reminded the Warrants about the Warrant Officer Creed and the values it espouses in addition to the Army Values and how they need to be true to both.
"Warrant Officers do not let other Warrant Officers Fail," said CW5 Jenschke. "We must support each other, answer the phone, and reply to that email when your fellow warrants need your help."
He spent a number of minutes talking about command expectations from a Warrant Officer's perspective. He also addressed what loyalty, honesty,
integrity, mission dedication, technical proficiency means, and how to be a trusted advisor to Commanders at all levels.
Jenschke finished his presentation by emphasizing the best advice that he said he ever received as a Warrant, "to be on time, be on target, and show up with the right equipment."
