CE Weekly Submission by MSgt Travis J. Rolstad //
On 15 Apr 21, the 366 CES conducted its monthly Prime BEEF readiness training day. To kick off the training, Airmen Engineers assembled at the Base Theater. Following a classified airfield threat brief presented by the EOD Flight, participants donned MOPP 4 gear and conducted CBRN task qualification training and post-attack reconnaissance sweeps. The training featured equipment orientation, the cleaning of beddown assets, and Damage Assessment and Recovery Team (DART) drills. The squadron’s firefighters also practiced victim extraction scenarios at their structural trainer while wearing their MOPP 4 Joint Firefighter Integrated Response Ensemble (JFIRE). Through their concerted efforts, the 366 CES has made significant progress in replacing computer-based training with practical, hands-on events, which are more effective and memorable for participants.
