Maj. Justin May assumed command of the 890th Missile Security Forces Squadron during a change of command ceremony June 14, 2021, in the Peacekeeper High Bay, on F.E. Warren Air Force Base.
Prior to his current position, May was the 60th Security Forces Squadron commander at Travis Air Force Base, California.
Maj. Robert Chance, outgoing 890 MSFS commander, will work with security forces staff at the Pentagon.
A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
