(From left) Col. John White, outgoing OPM-SANG program manager, is presented the Legion of Merit by Brig. Gen Garrick Harmon, USASAC commanding general July 28 at Redstone Arsenal. Following the award presentation, White relinquished PM duties for the Office of the Program Manager-Saudi Arabian National Guard Modernization Program to Col. Ken. Burgess. Under White’s leadership, OPM-SANG coordinated the female MP training course, oversaw the issuance and new equipment training of one Light Armored Vehicle variant, continued support to forward-deployed SANG com-bat formations, and executed Phase II of III for the aviation materiel fielding to complete an $11.7B foreign military sales case. White’s next assignment is XO to the TRADOC DCG at Fort Eustis, Virginia.
