“Verifying that work in place is in accordance to the prints and specifications.” - Construction Electrician 1st class Joshua Davis, Assistant Quality Control Manager (AQCM); assigned to Naval Mobile Construction (NMCB) 1 Detachment (DET) Guam, when asked about his GM18-877 Outhouse Conversion project inspection procedures.
He then elaborated on his responsibilities as AQCM for NMCB 1 DET Guam “AQCM [is] responsible for ensuring unit [NMCB 1] Quality Control system implementation at the detachment location.”
The GM18-877 Outhouse Conversion project is being constructed in support of Naval Munitions Command Pacific East Asia Division, Unit Guam. This project, like many others tasked to NMCB 1 DET Guam, offers an opportunity for Seabees to better their craftsmanship within their respective rates while providing a sanitary work place for Sailors and DOD employee’s assigned to the Munitions Command.
