Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians set the skies ablaze with a fiery display in preparation for the upcoming MCAS Cherry Point Air Show during a practice event at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina, Aug. 12, 2021. This range served as the first practice for the technicians to ready themselves for the “Wall of Fire” pyrotechnic blast to be featured during the Marine Air Ground Task Force demonstration.
The MCAS Cherry Point Air Show scheduled for Sept. 25-26, 2021, will give guests the opportunity to see a wide variety of modern and historic aircraft, vehicles and military equipment up close and personal. The air show will also feature a demonstration of a Marine Air Ground Task Force and a wide variety of performances including Aftershock, RJ Gritter, Tom Larkin, Steve Covington, Hubie Tolson, and U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
