SASH members partnered with a local animal shelter to bring dogs on base for pet therapy, where Goodfellow members had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the companionship of nine different dogs. The event allowed SASH members to raise awareness for the SASH program, while also providing a space for Goodfellow members to play with dogs and raise their morale.
The Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office, which oversees the SAPPR program, plans to host more events like these in the future.
