Tell us about your job and what you do:
As the Army Field Support Battalion – Korea, S-3 Operations non-commissioned officer in charge, I assist the S3 Operations Chief, Kelvin Claude with readiness of the whole battalion. I plan, coordinate, and monitor mandatory online and face-to-face training, recording and compiling training records and reports to show the battalion’s capabilities and performance. I conduct analysis and assessment of information, ensuring reports that impact activities are completed, monitoring all events within the battalion that are crucial for mission success. During contingency operations I perform the duties as the non-commissioned officer in charge of the Battalion Operations and Information Center, where I receive reports and consolidate information for the command team to make informed decisions. During these events I also perform the split duties of the Request for Information (RFI) Manager and the Knowledge Manager for each period.

I have served in numerous leadership positions, including: Equipment Records Parts Specialist, Shop Office NCOIC, Material Storage Handle Sergeant, Automated Logistics NCOIC, Master Driver Trainer, and Detail Recruiter.
What is the best thing about being in the Army Field Support Battalion – Korea?
Serving in Korea has been my greatest honor, working in such a diversified work space has been so rewarding. I have the opportunity to learn so much culture at AFSBn-Korea and the Command Team has taught me so much more than just my job.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy going for a walk, or riding a bike in the nature. In my free time I enjoy socializing and spend time with my family fishing. Going out for a cup of coffee or for some healthy snacks, and meeting new friends. I also try to help anyone, with whatever they need and lastly what I like the most doing during lunch time is sharing a meal with James Parker and Alexander De Bearn, the so called “S6 Meal Team 6.”
Do you have a special skill or talent you would like to share?
I am multilingual, as Spanish was my first language, learning English in my younger years I have been able to help so many. This made my time as a recruiter in sales so much easier, it has also served me well in my time in leadership being able to mentor and mold younger Soldiers.

Trust yourself and don’t let anyone take away your blessings in any way shape or form.
