The Navy Senior Language Authority's Office in D.C. (OPNAV N13F) is working with Naval Education Training Command (NETC) and the Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT) to resume language testing at Navy Language Testing Sites affected by the closure / consolidation of overseas Navy College Offices.
Ultimately, testing will be restored in Honolulu, Hawaii; Naples, Italy; Rota, Spain; Yokosuka, and Sasebo, Japan. Testing site Yokosuka will support Atsugi-based personnel. Personnel in Honolulu, Hawaii; Rota, Spain; and Sasebo, Japan will be able to test once per quarter. Interval of testing may be adjusted based on demand.
The intent is to have language testing restored as described above no later than April 2022. At that time, Sailors may schedule appointments to test through the scheduling tool found at:
https://www.mnp.navy.mil/group/training-education-qualifications/appointment-scheduler.
In the interim, Navy personnel in affected areas should contact languagetesting@navy.mil for assistance with alternate testing solutions.
