The 105th Airlift Wing Logistical Readiness Squadron held an awards ceremony in the Heritage Hall auditorium, November 6, 2021, at 11am EST.
U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Dian Chen received the Chief Tommy Downs award for extraordinary effort and dedicated service to his country. Chen has carried out both federal and state missions in Puerto Rico and Iraq.
“I just want to say thank you to everyone who has helped and mentored me through everything,” said SSgt Chen.
The 105th Logistics Readiness Squadron also received the ARC Air Transportation Activity of the year award for 2020.
“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Said U.S. Air Force Chief Elizabeth Colton to a standing crowd of fellow 105th Logistics Readiness Squadron members.
Chief Colton highlighted the teamwork and group effort it took to achieve this award. Along with the hard work and dedication every member of the squadron put forth over the past year.
