On Sept. 8, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst leadership and members of the Suicide Prevention Awareness program greeted the joint base community coming into the base, while holding signs of positive messaging, in support of Suicide Awareness Month on Joint Base MDL, N.J. The Suicide Prevention Awareness program created the positive messaging activity to enhance mental health and increase the level of support towards the joint base community. September is Suicide Prevention Awareness month. JB MDL mental health advocates collaborate to raise awareness for suicide prevention and strengthen the mental health of the joint base community.
