WIESBADEN, Germany – On Friday, Sept. 16, the 102nd Operational Sustainment Brigade, Prince William of Gloucester Barracks hosted a religious service in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. The queen’s loss has been deeply felt across the British Army, who with their U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden comrades in arms paid their respects to Elizabeth at the Clay Kaserne Chapel. The queen was more than a monarch, she defined an era.
“It is important for the British to remember her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was our Commander-in-Chief and has been a constant presence during our life,” said Padre Ivan Liton. “May her memory and her example be a blessing to us all.”
