Burleson discussed what the future looks like for land forces and what is required to be successful in future ground combat operations. He stressed the never-ending need to maintain readiness through Soldier training.
The event featured a variety of Eighth Army assets to include UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters, a AH-64 Apache, Bradley Fighting Vehicle, a Stryker and Paladin 155mm Howitzer.
The general and Eighth Army staff members got to tour the expo, which featured the latest ground combat equipment and technology.
Also on display by various companies are unmanned aerial systems both small and large. For infantry, new body armor and weapons were available to touch and examine.
The expo is an annual event in South Korea. The first few days focus on business and military visitors and presentations while the last two days over the weekend are open to the public. DX Korea 2022 continues through Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022.
