    JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii – Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii awarded a $17,362,000 firm-fixed-price task order under a previously awarded contract to Insight Pacific, LLC, Brea, California, for replacement of Station K10, Facility S643, and modification of Building 641 electrical service at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, September 22.

    The work to be performed provides for the replacement of Substation K10 electrical components located in Facility S643, and Building 641 air compressors and supporting infrastructure.

    Work includes construction of a concrete masonry unit electrical Substation K10 facility and extension of the electrical feeders from Facility S643 to Building 641 via the new Substation K10 facility. Work also includes site work, trenching/backfill, asphalt concrete paving, and installation of an automatic transfer switch between the existing generator and Building 641 service main.

    This contract was competitively procured under the previously awarded design-build/design-bid-build, small business, multiple award construction contract, with three offers received. Work will be performed at Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by March 2025.
