A continuous base shuttle route is replacing the base taxi service, starting Oct. 3.
The route will allow all Department of Defense ID card holders to travel anywhere on the bus route Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Two buses will be continuously running in opposite directions, creating a quicker route for passengers.
Stops are located at Taylor Logistics Center, the Exchange, Keesler Medical Center, Sablich Center, Weather Training Complex, Cody Hall, the Levitow Training Support Facility and Welch Theater.
The stops are labeled as bus shuttle stop and the bus will be marked as base shuttle.
*If you have an official use transportation request to authorized locations that are not listed on the route please call Ground Transportation Dispatch at 228-377-2430 or 228-377-2432.*
COVID Note: Personnel exhibiting any COVID symptoms will not be permitted to ride the base shuttle. To eliminate contamination/transmission, they must call Ground Transportation Dispatch at 228-377-2430 or 228-377-2432 and request separate transportation and must wear a mask for our drivers’ safety.
