MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – The Military and Family Life Counseling program at Moody Air Force Base provides support for service members and their families.
Whether an Airman or their family is feeling stressed or seeking conflict resolution, Moody’s MFLC is there for non-medical situations, ensuring each patient is receiving the care they need.
What is MFLC?
Military and Family Life Counseling is a program aimed to support military families. Employed by Masters or Doctorate-level licensed counselors, the program works with families, individuals, couples and children.
What does MFLC provide?
Counselors provide short-term, non-medical services; psycho-education, to help miliary members and their families understand the impact of deployments; and stress related to military life.
MFLC offers flexible services, on and off the installation and is at no cost to the individual.
What are the non-medical counseling services?
Anger management, communication skills, relationship issues, conflict resolution, parenting, decision-making skills, deployment stress, coping skills, homesickness, relocation adjustment, reintegration, separation, resiliency building, sadness, grief and loss.
What else?
With the exception of child abuse, domestic abuse and duty-to-warn situations, services provided are private and confidential.
