    Marine Corps Recruiting Command

MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO, Va. - Marine Corps Recruiting Command released its latest advertising campaign within the Battles Won brand strategy this week. The campaign, “Shifting Threats” was released on YouTube initially and is scheduled for its television debut Saturday, October 29, 2022, during the University of Georgia versus University of Florida college football game.

“Shifting threats” focuses on the single premise that as our country confronts “ever-evolving threats, our Nation’s greatest asset is the adaptable skillset of Marines who fight and win.” The ad begins with Marines conducting an amphibious landing and then transitioning to different locations and environments where Marines are facing various threats by adapting and overcoming challenges.

“The centerpiece of the Marine Corps isn’t a platform; it’s the individual Marine,” said Lt. Col. Rob Dolan, Director, Marketing and Communication, MCRC. “The concept behind the Shifting Threats campaign is to explain who we are and what we do for the Nation while communicating the Marine Corps’ identity to this generation of prospective Marines.”

Shifting Threats will be amplified through various communication and media platforms through TV/video advertisements, digital audio, social media posts, and digital assets.

The Shifting Threats commercial can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/user/OurMarines.
