U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Jeremy Moore, an aviation ordnance magazine division chief with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, reenlisted for an additional four years in the Marine Corps while standing on the green of the first hole at the Sound of Freedom Golf Course on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Oct. 25, 2022. This marks Moore’s second reenlistment.
“I’m big on golfing and I love the view from the first hole, so I had to do it here and be a little extra,” Moore said.
He said one of the reasons he decided to reenlist was because the Marine Corps is a unique branch of service, offering relationships and bonds that are hard to find elsewhere.
“The Marines make it worth it,” Moore said.
As he moves into his second reenlistment, Moore looks forward to advancing in his Marine Corps career. He has been selected to be promoted to staff sergeant by Dec. 2022.
“My biggest piece of advice to Marines is to always be hungry for new knowledge,” Moore said. “You can learn something from everyone you meet.”
