New York -- Chief Machinery Technician Richard Gauthier and Chief Culinary Specialist Tristen Davis are recognized for five years of sea service and awarded the permanent Cutterman insignia Oct. 18, 2022, aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Katherine Walker (WLM-552). Gauthier and Davis have served the required 5 years aboard seagoing vessels to receive this award. Former Katherine Walker commanding officer Captain Florentino provided remarks durning the ceremony.
